We are currently looking for a Surveyor / Permissioner to work on our contracts in Attleborough, Norfolk. Your role will be to understand growth rates on the power network & prioritise vegetation management accordingly, then gain permission from landowners to carry out the work.
Key Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
You will be responsible for generating tree works around a power network.
You must be self motivated, used to working under your own initiative, an excellent communicator and have safety at the forefront of your mind.
Work will be carried out in the public eye and so work and safety must be of a high standard at all times.
You must be a dedicated and hard-working individual who is prepared to work in a physically demanding role in all weather conditions
You will be required to work on a stretch of the Contract and therefore significant travel will be involved.
We are looking for the successful individual to have:
Ability to identify common tree species found in the UK
Ability to read Ordnance Survey maps, manage your time effectively, communicate effectively and professionally and identify the relative growth rate of selected tree species
IT Literate, with the ability to use a PDA
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate any of the following competencies; UA1, UA5, CS31, CS32, CS38, CS39
Full UK Driving License and willing to travel
