Lead climber/Groundsman - We are looking for a lead climber/Groundsman to join our busy domestic/Commercial Arb team covering Wiltshire/Hampshire/dorset and surrounding areas.
The applicant must have a full uk driving licence and hold all relevant tickets, they must be experienced in all aspects of Arboriculture be hard working/conscious and reliable..

Arborists (Vacancy ID: 2198) - Our client is an Arb Approved Contractor who specialises in commercial and domestic Grounds maintenance, Landscaping and Tree care and covers the South East of England. They are looking to recruit up to two Arborists to be based from their growing Hampshire offices.

The ideal candidates should have certificates for aerial use of the chainsaw and ideally some working experience in the industry.

In return a salary of between 24,500 and 26.500 pa is offered plus 28 days holiday (inc Banks).

Lead Climber (Vacancy ID: 2195) - Our client is an Arboricultural Contractor based near Maidstone, Kent.

They are looking for a Lead Climber to join their existing teams working on a their long term street trees contract .

The role would suit someone who is interested in full time work on a self employed basis. CIS registration required which is a 2 min phone call. The daily rate of pay will be circa 150.

Candidates should possess tickets for aerial use of the Chainsaw and ideally a driving license.

Arborists & Team Leader (Vacancy ID: 2194) - Our client is an established regional contractor based in the South Midlands. They operate through out the south east, London and south midlands providing grounds maintenance, landscaping and Arboricultural services to commercial and residential customers. They are currently looking for a Lead Climber and up to two qualified Arborists to work from their yard in Hertford.

Candidates of varying levels of competency and experience will be considered, but you must possess a certificate for aerial use of the chainsaw and ideally hold a current driving licence .

In return our client is offering a salary of up to 140/day ( 17.50/hour) PAYE for the Lead CLimber and upto 120/day (15/hr) for the climbing Arborists. In addition employees receive 28 days paid annual leave and other benefits to include training and certification.

Competent Groundsman/Arborist (Vacancy ID: 2192) - Our client is busy local authority tree section in Oxfordshire who are responsible for more than 60,000 trees. They are looking for a qualified Groundsman or Arborist to join their Arboricultural section . You should have a certificate for aerial rescue and a driving licence as a minimum and ideally some working experience within the industry. Extra chainsaw certificates are an advantage.

An hourly rate of 11.28 is offered. The position will initially be employed on a temporary basis but the position may transfer to permanent for the right candidate. Benefits include a 37-hour week and 28 days leave.

Assistant Tree Officer (Vacancy ID: 2191) - Our client is a Local Authority in South Gloucestershire. They are looking for an Arb Technician to assist the main Tree Officer . Your role will be to assist the Arb department in dealing with all tree related enquiries. This will include dealing with the general public and other stake holders to consider applications for tree works and recording relevant tree data. You will act as a first point of contact to provide advice on tree related issues and pass more complex enquiries to the Arb Officer.

This role would suit a candidate who is Qualified to a minimum of a Level 3 in Arboriculture and ideally has some industry experience but is looking to move in to a Technical role.

In return a PAYE rate of 12.85/hour is offered and the contract will be for circa 6 months initially.

Arb Contract Manager (Vacancy ID: 2190) - Our client is an established Arb Approved contractor based in Staffordshire. They undertake a wide range of commercial, domestic and utility work. Clients include Staffordshire highways, construction companies and utility main contractors.They are currently looking for a Contract Manager to manage the day to day running of the business.

This position would suit an experienced Arborist who is now looking to move away from the tools into a more office based role. Candidates should be computer literate with good people skills and commercial sense. The role will involve quoting for work, organising the men and machines to meet job requirements whilst keeping Health and Safety a priority.

In return a salary of circa 28000 is offered.

Candidates should hold a full driving licence and NPTC's 30, 31, 38 and 39. Industry experience is an advantage.

Principal Arb Consultant (Vacancy ID: 2186) - Our client is a major provider of Arboricultural Services throughtout the UK and are based in the West Midlands.They are looking to appoint a Principal Consultant to manage the delivery of contracts for public, commercial and private sector organisations, as well as continuing to develop the Consultancy department. Your remit will involve working with local authorities, government organisations and housing authorities.

Candidates should ideally have a minimum QCF Level 6 Qualification in Arboriculture or equivalent and several years' experience of Arb Consultancy . You should be able to demonstrate your experience in working and managing large scale projects and knowledge of data collection software, GIS mapping and AutoCAD.

In return a salary of circa 40kpa is offered plus a company vehicle with fuel card, 33 days annual leave (inc bank holidays), CPD commitment and annual subscriptions to Professional Institutions.

Arborists (Vacancy ID: 2181) - Our client is a growing Arboricultural Contractor based in Central London with a yard in Wandsworth and Dorking.

In return a daily rate of between 150 (second climber) and 175 (lead Climber) is offered.

They have a busy tree section covering the management of the council's tree stock and providing advise to their planning section on works to protected trees and responding to development surveys. They currently require two Arboricultural Officers, initially for a three-month period.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Level 3 Qualification in Arboriculture with two year's industry experience.

In return a PAYE rate of between 16 and 23/hour is offered, dependent upon experience.

Our client is an established provider of Arboricultural professional and technical support services to the private sector, local and central government. They work with clients by providing expert advice on tree and woodland related issues ensuring that they clearly understand the impacts of trees within the planning system.

They are looking for a junior Arboriculturalist to join their Southampton team on a full time basis. The main responsibilites of the role will be to undertake and produce BS5837:2012 Tree surveys, Tree survey reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements; Also to undertake arboriculture Clerk of Works duties on development sites and to assist with data analysis, evaluation, report writing and project research

You will need a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Arboriculture with a driving licence. Arborists (Vacancy ID: 2179) - 2179 Arborists Bath

Our client is the tree section of a local authority in the south west near Bristol. As a unitary authority they are responsible for all governmental functions in a mixed urban and rural area which includes the world heritage city of Bath and attractive rural areas stretching towards the Mendips.

The council are currently looking to recruit 2 skilled climbing arborists. NPTC's CS 30 and CS 31 are essential, with NPTC CS38 and CS39 preferable. A driving licence is also needed. The role will involve the full range of works to trees on highways, park, schools, housing and other council owned land.The position is offered at an hourly rate of pay of 9.23 PH PAYE on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidates.

Tree Officer (Vacancy ID: 2143) - A South London Council require a Tree Officer to assist with their current work load. Work will be circa 60% tree inspections and 40% office based . The assignment is expected to run for circa 6 months and may become permanent.

Candidates should be qualified to a minimum Level 3 in Arboriculture and have previous working experience as a Surveyor although entry level candidates will be considered. A PAYE rate of 15 to 18/hour is offered for a 36 hour week.

Arborists (Vacancy ID: 2152) - Opportunity to work for a local authority tree section based in south east London. The work will involve the full range of arboricultural operations to the council tree stock, including tree and root pruning, crown reduction, lifting and thinning, felling, root removal and stump grinding.

The tree section is well resourced and has an excellent range of plant and equipment. Candidates will initially be engaged on a temporary contract with an immediate start and the opportunity to transfer to direct employment with the council after a probationary period.

Candidate requirements are NPTC modules CS30,31,38 & 39, and ideally Lantra Chipper and Stump Grinder or NPTC A06 & 07 and a first aid qualification. Rate of pay is 12.58PH for 36 hour week rising to 13.86/hour after 12 weeks .

Groundsman/Trainee Climber - All aspects of grounds-based practical tree surgery work in a busy, friendly and professional team. Involving risk assessment, pruning and felling; hedge cutting; processing arisings; supporting the climber's int he tree; using powered equipment including chainsaws, hedge cutters, blowers, brush chippers etc. YOU are qualified with NPTC 30 and 31 or equivalents, and have at least 12 months experience.
