Our client is an East Midlands local authority. They are currently looking to appoint a Tree and Woodland Services Manager whose department is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Council's trees and woods. They also provide professional advice to other departments, promoting Council's policies as they relate to trees and woodland.
Suitable candidates will have previous technical experience in consultancy and hold a minimum level four qualification in arboriculture. They must be able to direct other staff in the delivery of the service by careful allocation of tasks and provide guidance where necessary. The service must be provided within a quality framework and to defined timescales and cost levels.
This is a permanent contract with a starting salary of 37107.00 for a 37 hour week, rising to 39,002.00 after completion of first year. You will also be required to participate in an on call rota when needed.This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check . Closing date for applications is 13th May 2018.
