Our client is a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. They are looking for a Tree Officer with a formal qualification in Arboriculture to manage their tree stock.
You will be the first point of contact for tree related enquires from both customers, staff and external agencies and will provide technical expertise as required both internally and externally. Part of the role will be to attend and inspect ad hoc tree enquiries and to provide guidance for customers and staff within the organisation.
The ideal candidate should have a recognised formal qualification in Arboriculture and ideally some experience in a similar role as a Tree Officer. You should be comfortable with the IT systems used for recording tree data and have sound knowledge of the Visual Tree Assessment systems and knowledge of tree pests and diseases.
In return a salary of 30000 is offered for a 35 hour week . Other benefits include a bonus scheme and 30 days holiday.
