Our client is a small contractor based in Hertfordshire just within the M25. They have a very long term relationship with one of the UKs largest contractors and operate from their yard facilities. As well as local authority contracts in north London and Herts they undertake some local domestic work. They have been asked by the main contractor to undertake more work and consequently they are looking to employ a qualified climber to increase their resource.
Candidates should have NPTCs for aerial use of the saw and a driving licence. Ideally they would like to employ candidates with industry experience; preferably as a climber. The role will involve working as part of a two or three man team with the opportunity to take on a Lead Climber role for more experienced and competent climbers. In all cases the work would involve a large amount of climbing and so would be a great opportunity for less experienced climbers to improve their speed, productivity and earning potential.
Rate of pay is subject to experience and qualifications, but would range from 10 to 15PH on a PAYE basis. In addition there is 28 days paid leave plus a company pension scheme and further training opportunities.
