Role and Responsibilities
To lead and manage the day to day operations for the Utility Arb Team in the Northants and Milton Keynes area for Ground Control, to be the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining and building excellent customer relations. The role will be split between management of a team of Project Managers and taking a hands-on approach when required.
Although desirable, a background in arboriculture is not essential. This role would ideally suit someone with a strong background in contract management, possibly within the grounds maintenance, construction or facilities management sectors.
Requirements:
The candidate will ideally have some, but not necessarily all, of the following:
NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 5.1 and 5.2 (or a willingness to undertake)
Holds a full, valid driving license
3-5 years experience in similar job role
LANTRA Basic or Professional Tree Inspectors Qualification (or a willingness to undertake)
Supervisory experience of organising, motivating and managing a team
Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
Personable character; able to interact, communicate, influence and motivate others
Results Driven
Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
