Our client is a medium sized regional contractor based in rural Shropshire. They hold the contract with the county council and undertake work for commercial and domestic clients through out the county and also in the Black country area. They do not udertake utility work. Their forward order book is more than three months and as such they are looking to employ an additional team of staff to enable them to reduce lead in times for work.
Lead climber: competent climber required to lead a team of 2-3 staff. Candidates must be qualified to use a chainsaw in a tree and have a full UK driving licence. Rate of pay subject to experience, but would range from 10 to 11PH, plus benefits to include company pension, paid leave and training.
Second climber/groundsman: candidates must be qualified to CS30 and CS38 as a minimum (groundsman) and ideally CS31 and CS39. although not required to drive a company vehicle you will need your own transport to get to work in the mornings. Rate of pay subject to experience and qualifications, but would range from 8 to 9PH.
