Our client is based in south Herts near the M25/M1 junction. They are a well established company which has been going for 17 years with a very good reputation locally. Their client base is very varied and includes Management companies, developers, schools, parish councils, Local authorities and of course domestic private clients. The work is also wide ranging and can involve anything from big take downs using MEWPs or cranes to all aspects of tree pruning, plus hedge cutting jobs, tree planting and woodland management. They also process waste cord wood for firewood. You will not get bored pruning street trees all day!
They are looking for a Climber to work alongside their existing Lead Climber and Groundsman. They need someone who is enthusiastic and keen to advance their knowledge and skills. Must be able to communicate well with customers. Candidates must have qualifications upto CS39 and a full clean driving licence. Previous climbing experience is preferred (but they can be a bit flexible on this for the right person), with a good knowledge of modern climbing and rigging techniques.
The position is full time and permanent. Rate of pay from 9 to 12PH, basic with opportunity to work overtime. In additon candidates will be paid 28 days annual leave. They have an excellent record for training and CPD, having put their Lead Climber through the Level 4 Diploma in Arb and LANTRA PTI last year.
