MWA is an expanding Arboricultural Consultancy with a reputation for the highest standards of reporting and client service. Due to a growing client base and increasing instructions we now require an experienced consultant to join our team.
The Individual:
Highly organised, self-motivated and commercially aware, you will able to work independently and within a team structure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with clients at a professional level are prerequisites.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a broad range of consultancy work including reports relating to clay-shrinkage subsidence, duty of care (hazard) surveys, detailed tree condition appraisals and tree surveys/reports in support of built development.
An awareness of tree/building relationships in connection with clay-shrinkage subsidence damage will be expected; however, extensive training will be provided.
A thorough working knowledge of the planning system and BS5837:2012 is expected along with significant experience of the delivery of baseline condition surveys, implication assessments, the application of method statements addressing tree constraints and the production of detailed high quality plans using CAD programs.
A minimum of 3 years experience in the delivery of consultancy within a commercial environment is expected.
The Role:
Predominantly home based, you will be expected to attend client sites throughout the UK; although a focus on the home-counties, north of London is anticipated. Occasional nights away will be required. The production of high quality and consistent reports and mapping to strict deadlines will be expected.
Training:
A program of training will form part of the induction process after which post holders will be expected to undertake company funded CPD as required to remain in-touch with industry developments.
Qualifications:
Arboricultural to Level 4 or above.

Salary of 32,000 -35,000 per annum
