A new BIO would cost £7100, but get a good as new one for £4950 (no VAT), with only 36 hours.
The BIO 250 is designed to provide a solution to the professional landscaper’s green waste disposal problems. The BIO 250 combines both a hammer mill shredder and separate disc blade chipper in one. Developed for customers who wish to tow from site to site, all powered by the well proven Honda engine – 20 HP with electric start.
The shredder section has the perfect combination of angled hopper, with a large hydraulic rise and fall roller to grip the material and feed to the hammers, so you can walk away and get the next load. No standing over the machine forcing it in – this is designed for professional use. The BIO 250 is mounted on a braked trailer, even though under 750 kg at just 450 kg. Full metal construction, we use no fibreglass or plastic, so you know your machine will last.
The fineness of the shredded product can be altered with the use of different size screens. Machine fitted as standard with a bar style screen, with other options for reprossessing for composting. The brushwood chipper takes 90 mm (3.5 inch) solid timber, and the separate hammer mill chamber takes soft prunings, hedging, turf offcuts, and all the problem material to break it down quickly ready for composting or mulching. Even pebbles and nails will go through the shredder section with no problem so great for volume reducing broken fencing, pallets and the last sweepings that you dare not put through a chipper.
The BIO 250 is built with a discharge chute to power the chips/shreds up for loading, plus a deflector is supplied so can simply discharge direct onto the ground for mulching and for processing very wet material.
